The main aim of our PPG is to provide a bridge helping communications (anonymous if preferred) between the patients and the practice. We act as the collective patients’ voice, which feeds back comments on various aspects of North Leeds Medical Practice to the Practice Manager.
Welcome to our Practice’s Patient Participation Group (PPG)!
The PPG has been in existence here since 2010, and it’s run by a committee of volunteers (all patients of the practice).
We’re here to work with the patients and staff of North Leeds Medical Practice to ensure that the practice delivers the best care for everyone registered.
We can’t do that without hearing from you, our fellow patients. If you’d like to share your experiences, are interested in joining the PPG as a member, or want to find out more about future opportunities to have your say about how our practice delivers services, please join our mailing list, or the main PPG committee that meets every 6 weeks. All you need to do is drop us an email at [email protected]. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Please note: PPGs cannot deal with formal complaints, so please use the Practice’s complaints procedure. The PPG can’t carry out inquiries or get in touch with a particular member of staff at the practice either.
Anything you send via the PPG email will be viewed by a member of the group, who is a usually a patient themselves. Please only send what you are comfortable sharing.
We look forward to more patients joining the PPG – we’re committed to diversity and inclusion, and welcome any patients registered at one of our two practices: Harrogate Road or Harehills Community Health Centre (HC2), who have a desire to get involved in how the practice delivers care – no medical experience required. The time commitment involved is as small or large as you wish. The PPG Committee meets every six weeks, usually on a Tuesday, between 4:30pm – 6:15pm.
Kind thanks,
Diana Oakes, PPG Chair
