Appointments

All requests for GP care will go through our online PATCHS system. The PATCHS system will be open from 7am daily, allowing you to submit requests online before the practice opens, via the NHS App, computer or smartphone. You can submit requests in other languages which will be translated. For those unable to access online, our Telephone Assistant can collect request details over the phone or support can be provided by our reception team.

A clinician-led team of trained staff will review all submitted requests equitably. Based on clinical need, they will recommend the most appropriate next step – scheduling an appointment with a GP or other healthcare professional, providing advice/guidance, or directing you to an alternate suitable service.

If you need to ring reception, please call:

  • Harrogate Road: 0113 268 0066
  • Harehills Community Health Centre: 0113 249 0598

Please note: an appointment is just for one person.

Non-urgent advice: Please note

The doctor has only 10 minutes allocated for each appointment. If your problem is complex you can be reassured your doctor will give you as much time as you need. If you have more than one problem and you think you will need more than 10 minutes, then please submit two separate requests. This will help the doctor keep to time and prevent the other patients waiting unnecessarily.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else. You can cancel your appointment in person, by phone or online.

Routine appointments

If your request is not urgent you will be offered an appointment within the next 7 or 14 days depending on the urgency. You will be able to choose from appointments on different days, and times. You will be able to see who the appointment is with.
