NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB)

From 1 July 2022, NHS Leeds CCG became a part of the new NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB)

The role of the West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board is to join up health and care services, improve people’s health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities.

The NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board became a statutory organisation on the 1 July 2022 as part of the Government’s new Health and Care Act.

This statutory body is a new type of organisation, governed by partners and focused on collaboration as a means of driving improved outcomes for people in West Yorkshire. This sees the ICB work at a West Yorkshire level at a local level in Bradford District and Craven, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds, and Wakefield District.
