There are many other local NHS services you can contact if you need health advice, information or treatment, as well as our practice.
You can treat yourself for many minor ailments such as colds, coughs and indigestion by keeping a well-stocked medicine cabinet at home. Ask your local pharmacist for advice.
You can join the ‘Pharmacy First’ scheme which is run by the local pharmacies in conjunction with NHS Leeds. Please ask your pharmacist for details. Your local pharmacist will be able to give you free health advice at any time – you do not need an appointment. Many pharmacies operate extended hours on a rota basis.
