Need Help with accessing Digital Healthcare?

Would you like to improve your digital skills to be able to order your repeat prescriptions and book doctor’s appointments on your computer, tablet or smartphone?

Get FREE lessons at our FREE drop-in sessions at the Harrogate Road Surgery of the North Leeds Medical Practice on Thursday 30 January 2025 at 1:30pm – 4pm.

We will show you how to register on, and use the NHS app, how to order your repeat prescriptions or book appointments online, how to use PATCHS (the system launched last year to contact your GP practice without phoning or visiting in person) and answer any questions you may have.

There’ll also be an opportunity to book a slot for a one-to-one session, if you need it, with our digital volunteers at the practice.

WANT TO VOLUNTEER AS A DIGITAL CHAMPION?
Also, please let us know if you are a patient at this practice and would like to train as a volunteer Digital Champion, to teach other patients how to use PATCHS, or the NHS app to book appointments, see their test results and medical notes, order prescriptions etc. This would not be a very time-consuming activity and while you don’t have to be a computer expert to train as a Digital Champion, you need to be at least comfortable using the Internet on a computer/laptop, tablet or smartphone.
